In April 2026, Google renamed Looker Studio back to its original name, Data Studio. If you’ve seen “Data Studio” across our site and wondered what changed, here’s the short answer: only the name.

What Changes for You

Nothing you need to act on:

• Your reports keep working. Existing dashboards and data sources built on Power My Analytics connectors are unaffected.
• Same connectors. Every Power My Analytics partner connector works exactly as before, under the new name.
• Same setup. You’ll find our connectors in Data Studio the same way you found them in Looker Studio.

Why You’ll See Both Names

Many people still search for “Looker Studio connectors,” so you’ll often see us write “Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio).” They’re the same product.
